Day 1 Arrive Shannon, drive to Killarney
Oh, the Ring of Kerry tour is absolutely stunning! It's a scenic drive that takes you around the breathtaking coastline of County Kerry in Ireland. Day 2 Slea Head & the Dingle Peninsula
Slea Head and Dingle are two incredible places to explore on the Dingle Peninsula! Slea Head offers breathtaking coastal views, rugged cliffs, and ancient ruins. You can take a scenic drive along the winding roads and stop at stunning viewpoints like Dunmore Head and Coumeenoole Beach. And in Dingle, you'll find a charming town with colourful buildings, cozy pubs, and friendly locals. Don't forget to try some delicious local seafood. It's a magical experience.
Day 3 The spectacularly scenic Cliffs of Moher
Arriving at the Cliffs of Moher, you will be struck by their enormity. The cliffs are 214m high at the highest point and run for 8 kilometres along the western seaboard of County Clare. The sheer height of the cliffs and the spectacular views are sure to leave a lasting impression. During your 2 hours stop, you can choose to Visit O’Brien’s Tower, standing proudly on a headland off the cliffs, and enjoy amazing views of the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. The Burren & Cliffs of Moher was voted a UNESCO site in 2015
Day 4: Discover the wild & bohemian Galway City
Galway is the only city on the entire 2500km route of the Wild Atlantic Way, and it is steeped in history. The city is wild and bohemian, and at the same time full of culture, artistry, exceptional food and music. As well as being a popular seaside destination with long sandy beaches, Galway is also a thriving and cosmopolitan city centre. It is always a joy to explore with its wonderful cobbled medieval streets, colourful shop facades and its offbeat café/bar culture. We'll help you explore Galway's Latin Quarter and visit the iconic Spanish Arch. It's a city that's full of charm and always has something exciting happening!.
Day 5. The untamed beauty of Connemara
We start off our Connemara tour heading west, we'll take you out the coast road through Spiddal, the gateway to Connemara, where we can visit an authentic Irish crafts, fashion & gift shop, Standún.
We follow the road along to Casla, and onwards to Maam Cross which brings us through to Maam Valley and in to the heart of Joyce country and on to Leenane which is on the southern shore of Killary Harbour. Pine Island is nearby on Derryclare Lake, and is one of the most photographed islands in Ireland. The location combined with the dramatic Scot’s Pine Trees makes it a favourite photo stop along the N59. You'll absolutely love it.
