Galway is the only city on the entire 2500km route of the Wild Atlantic Way, and it is steeped in history. The city is wild and bohemian, and at the same time full of culture, artistry, exceptional food and music. As well as being a popular seaside destination with long sandy beaches, Galway is also a thriving and cosmopolitan city centre. It is always a joy to explore with its wonderful cobbled medieval streets, colourful shop facades and its offbeat café/bar culture. We'll help you explore Galway's Latin Quarter and visit the iconic Spanish Arch. It's a city that's full of charm and always has something exciting happening!.

Island is nearby on Derryclare Lake, and is one of the most photographed islands in Ireland.

Day 5. The untamed beauty of Connemara
We start off our Connemara tour heading west, we'll take you out the coast road through Spiddal, the gateway to Connemara, where we can visit an authentic Irish crafts, fashion & gift shop, Standún.

We follow the road along to Casla, and onwards to Maam Cross which brings us through to Maam Valley and in to the heart of Joyce country and on to Leenane which is on the southern shore of Killary Harbour. Pine Island is nearby on Derryclare Lake, and is one of the most photographed islands in Ireland. The location combined with the dramatic Scot’s Pine Trees makes it a favourite photo stop along the N59. You'll absolutely love it.
